As a Senior Data & Analytics Business Developer at KPMG, you will play a critical role in driving the growth and success of our Data, Analytics and AI services. You will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, forging key client relationships, and contributing to the expansion of KPMG's Data & Analytics portfolio. This position demands a deep understanding of data-driven solutions and the ability to communicate their value to potential clients.
The Senior Business Developer is responsible for a market or a group of client accounts with a key focus to expand existing relations and acquire new business. The Senior Business Developer works closely together with our Markets & Alliances team to develop market execution plans and oversees deployment of thought leadership within core accounts and targets.
The Senior Business Developer looks after the execution of all critical steps in the sales process: from lead identification to successful realization of a new opportunity.
Other key responsibilities include:
- Collaborates with KPMG colleagues, from Consultants to Partners, to create commercial opportunities for Data, Analytics and AI services within a sector and develops them into projects
- Collaborate with Markets/Alliances to jointly develop and convert leads/opportunities
- Builds a network of contacts within sales and delivery teams at organizations in the focus sector(s)
- Supports marketing activities – e.g. roundtables, inspiration sessions, webinars – within the focus sector(s)

Your challenges encompass the management of a market or a group of client accounts, where your primary objectives are to broaden existing connections and secure new business opportunities. You will work closely with our Markets & Alliances team to craft comprehensive market execution strategies and ensure the deployment of innovative thought leadership within core accounts and target segments. You will oversee and orchestrate all critical stages of the sales process, from initial lead identification to the successful realization of new opportunities.
Your key responsibilities also include collaborating with KPMG colleagues spanning from Consultants to Partners to create commercial prospects for Data, Analytics, and AI services within specific sectors, and subsequently transforming these prospects into tangible projects. Moreover, you will partner with Markets/Alliances to collaboratively develop and convert leads and opportunities. Building an extensive network of contacts within sales and delivery teams at organizations in the focus sector(s) will be vital. Additionally, you'll actively support marketing initiatives, such as roundtables, inspiration sessions, and webinars, within the focus sector(s).
In this role, you will be at the forefront of KPMG's efforts to harness the power of data and analytics, driving innovation and helping organizations leverage these capabilities to achieve their business goals.
Gevraagd
- Completed HBO or university studies, preferably in Business Information Management or business studies
- 8+ years of consulting and/or sales working experience
- Good understanding of Data, Analytics, and AI solutions, complex services and solutions (through delivery)
- Commercial drive – drive to win/close
- Communicator and teamer to ensure cross discipline teaming
- A proactive and passionate communicator with excellent verbal and written communication skills (Dutch and English)
