We are seeking a dedicated and responsible Lunch and Kitchen Assistant to join our team. This part-time position plays a vital role in ensuring a clean and organized kitchen and lunch environment. You will support the preparation of our daily employee meals, maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen, and be responsible for receiving and storing orders.

Responsibilities

• Assist in meal preparation, including the setup of food service areas and serving stations.
• Serve meals to the employees, ensuring portion control and adherence to dietary guidelines.
• Clean tables after lunch, place utensils and dishes into the dishwasher, and maintain a clean and tidy dining area.
• Receive and store orders for food, beverages, and other supplies.
• Restock food, beverages, and condiments as needed.
• Collaborate to ensure a smooth lunchtime operation.

About you

• Previous experience in food service, kitchen, or cleaning roles is a plus.
• Effective communication skills in English and a customer-service-oriented approach.
• You are reliable, responsible, and able to work well within a team.
• You are able to lift heavy boxes (up to 25 kg).
• You are eligible to work in the Netherlands for at least 20 hours per week.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing needs in a dynamic environment.
