Are you an experienced financial accountant looking for a challenging new role within an international company with a family-run feel?
Our client is a Dutch import-export company that specializes in non-food items. As one of the largest importers in Europe, they supply consumer products to retailers such as supermarkets, hardware stores, garden centers, department stores and international companies. With a headquarters in Amsterdam, they are supported by offices in 24 countries and six continents.
With a fully automated distribution center and a product range of over 30,000 items, they have come a long way from their humble beginnings. Although they have grown exponentially in size, the wellbeing and growth of their employees remains a top priority.
What you’ll do:

• Work in a team of 11 colleagues, 2 senior financial accountants, 3 AP employees and 6 financial accountants. You will be in charge of the entire financial administration of a number of foreign branches.
• Support and execute activities in the control and administration of Dutch and foreign VAT
• Monitor the annual financial statements of the assigned subsidiaries
• Monitor the monthly complete and correct reporting of the assigned foreign branches
• Deliver various ad-hoc specifications and activities for the main operating company
