Are you an experienced Electrical Engineer seeking a leadership role in designing innovative electrical installations for energy and industrial projects?

We are looking for a Senior Lead Electrical Engineer to oversee the design and implementation of electrical systems for energy and industrial projects, collaborate with clients to meet their specifications and contribute to the growth and development of the department.

Tasks & responsibilities:

• Lead a team within the Electrical/E&I department, potentially advancing to the role of department head.
• Design electrical installations for energy and industrial projects, covering low, medium, and high-voltage systems.
• Oversee various aspects of electrical engineering, including emergency power systems, lighting, motors and drives, grounding, lightning protection, short-circuit analysis, load flow, and cable calculations. 
• Manage instrumentation aspects, including system architecture, field instruments, procedures, and narratives. 
• Ensure deliverables meet client specifications and adhere to quality standards. 
• Translate client requirements into practical and optimal designs throughout project stages. 
• Create reports, provide advice, conduct calculations, and prepare diagrams, schematics, layouts, and lists.
• Collaborate with clients to achieve desired results, such as emission reduction, energy efficiency, or safe installations.
• Contribute to the growth and development of the Electrical/E&I department.
• Foster a dynamic and collaborative atmosphere, contributing to the company's reputation for excellence in the industry.

Gevraagd

• Preferably, a degree at the Bachelor's level in Electrical Engineering or a related field. 
• Experience as a Lead Engineer Electrical or E&I in an engineering firm.
• At least 7 years of work experience as an Electrical/E&I engineer in an engineering firm.
• Knowledge and experience in designing and analysing electrical installations, including cable and resistance calculations, emergency power, and lighting (depending on expertise).
• Familiarity with PLCs, SCADA systems, system architecture, FAT & SAT procedures, and control & safeguarding narratives (depending on expertise).
• Good communication skills in English.
• Willingness to learn the Dutch language in the short term.
