For our new contract logistics location in Amsterdam, we are looking for a Warehouse Manager. As Warehouse Manager, you are responsible for a production environment dedicated to one high-tech customer. In this role, you will directly manage 4 Supervisors and a Lean Coordinator. Indirectly, you manage +- 50 FTEs, divided into permanent employees and temporary workers. As Warehouse Manager, you are a member of the local MT and report to the Branch Director.

The position

• You make logistics policy proposals, draw up the annual warehouse plan and elaborate the plans into logistics activities and processes
• You ensure a good organizational structure and efficient and effective processes through logistics designs, quality and logistics analyses, risk analyses, etc.
• You guarantee personnel quality and quantity
• You have regular meetings with contractors and suppliers and ensure good cooperation
• You guarantee optimum performance for internal and external customers and ensure that customer agreements and SLAs are realized
• You assess results, identify bottlenecks, and intervene in case of deviations
• You initiate and coordinate (improvement) projects in the field of quality, work processes, efficiency, health & safety, and environment
• You ensure compliance with company obligations and procedures in the field of quality, health & safety, and environment

For this role, we are looking for a manager who, based on a challenging vision, inspires, and motivates employees to do their best work. For this, clear communication, good listening skills and a calm demeanor are essential. In addition, you are good at keeping an overview, you are analytically strong and well-versed in figures. You are fulltime available (40 hours a week).

Furthermore, you have

* HBO working and thinking level
* Some knowledge and experience in the high-tech industry
* At least 5 years' experience in a management position in a warehouse environment
* Good command of the Dutch and English languages, both verbally and in writing
