The team

The Global Archiving and Discovery Service (GADS) team is responsible for developing and maintaining a critical application within the Global Archiving Platform at ING's Global Services Enterprise Content & Automation (GS EC&A) tribe.

Our platform offers a comprehensive set of capabilities that enable efficient management, discovery, and retrieval of unstructured content across various content repositories within ING. By leveraging a global metadata model and classification schema, we collect and index metadata from content sources into an Elastic database, making it accessible through a suite of APIs.

These APIs provide powerful functionalities, allowing users to effortlessly find and search for specific documents or content within the organization. Additionally, our APIs facilitate the creation, retrieval, and metadata update of content, streamlining content management processes.

As a member of the GADS team, you will play a crucial role in enhancing and evolving this platform, contributing to its scalability, performance, and user experience. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, design and implement robust solutions, and ensure the seamless integration of our platform with various content repositories and systems across ING.
