Internship - Transformation Office HR

During the internship, your focus will be on the following tasks:

• Clearly mapping out process improvements by comparing the practices of People Operations and HR departments of other companies as well as other HR departments within the HEINEKEN group.
• Further shaping and implementing an improvement plan based on the results and analysis of the employee satisfaction survey among HEINEKEN employees and colleagues from People Operations, with the aim of increasing overall satisfaction. This includes shaping a reporting format that can track results over time.
• Rolling out People Process Plaza (Sharepoint platform) where important information within the department can be shared in a structured manner:
  • Collecting work instructions.
  • Draft guidelines for process descriptions and work instructions on the People Process Plaza, so that colleagues can easily find the necessary information and new employees within the department can be quickly onboarded.
  • Communicating with colleagues about the use of People Process Plaza.
  • Developing a plan to ensure that People Process Plaza remains relevant in the future.
  • Optimizing the Sharepoint page and adding new features to facilitate and improve its use.

The Department

Your internship is part of the Transformation Office team within the People Operations department.

Employment Terms

• Your start date is September 1, 2024.
• The internship is full-time (part-time is possible upon discussion).
• The duration of the internship is 5 or 6 months (to be discussed with your internship supervisor).
• It is a hands-on internship.
• Your workplace is Schiphol.
• Remote work is possible for part of the week.
• You will receive a gross monthly internship allowance of €500 based on 40 hours per week.
• You will enjoy 2 vacation days per month (based on full-time).
• If you do not have a public transport student pass, your commuting expenses will be fully reimbursed.

The Start of Your Internship

You will begin your internship at HEINEKEN alongside a diverse group of interns from various departments. Together, you will be introduced to the organization and can organize fun activities together.

• You have a passion for optimizing the way of working.

HEINEKEN Requirements

• You are enrolled at an educational institution, and we will need proof of enrolment for the current academic year.
• If you are a non-EU national, you must be enrolled as a student at a Dutch educational institution.
• If you are an EU national, you can also be enrolled at educational institutions outside the EU.
• You must reside in the Netherlands during your internship (HEINEKEN does not provide housing).
