For a multinational market leader within the production of electrical components and energy management systems, we are in search for a Lead Engineer Electricity & Data center. The company is based in the region of North Netherlands.

As a technical leader within EMEA, our new colleague will play a crucial role in EPMS/DCIM/SCADA projects, ensuring top-notch on-site service to maximize customer satisfaction and loyalty. Responsibilities include field service for hardware/software installation, startup, maintenance, debugging, and training of EPMS, DCIM, and SCADA systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform on-site hardware installation and software pre-configuration for Power Management and control systems, as well as next-generation Power Monitoring and SCADA platforms.
• Collaborate with software configuration engineers on-site to integrate systems, conduct installations, start-ups, maintenance, debugging, pre-configuration, pre-commissioning, FAT, SAT, and training.
• Provide troubleshooting and technical support for junior Field Service Representatives and support other junior engineers to foster a collaborative and result-oriented team environment.
• Demonstrate safety awareness in equipment handling, electrical and electronic procedures, and various work site conditions. Assist with procuring and maintaining PPE for field resources.
• Deliver timely, detailed, and accurate site reports on service work performed, product performance, and warranty matters, contributing to company expense and time allocation decisions.
• Offer feedback to the project execution team and contribute to process improvement, engineering capabilities, and resource management.
• Collaborate with senior management on hiring, training, coaching, and team development.
• Provide basic technical support and on-site information to customers via phone or on-site consultation.

Skills:

• Familiarity with EPMS/DCIM/BMS software and associated products like SQL and MS/Linux OS.
• Networking knowledge and certifications.
• Experience in virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V).
• Strong teamwork, communication, customer focus, and flexibility skills.
• Ability to work effectively with diverse cultures and follow instructions.
• Mobility to travel within EMEA on short notice.

Qualifications:

• Background in computer science or electrical engineering with relevant education/qualifications.
• Years of service experience in field service for engineering projects with complex working scopes.
