Manpower is looking for a mechanical engineering mechanic for a chemical company in Arnhem.

As a maintenance engineer, you will perform various mechanical inspections and preventive maintenance. You will do this on rotating and static equipment and piping at the production location

• Overhaul of machine components such as pumps, transmission systems, agitators, conveyor systems, pipes and rolling stock.
• Administrative tracking of fault causes, materials consumed and hours worked in the maintenance management system
• Maintaining tools, equipment and parts warehouse in accordance with applicable procedures
• Detection of faults and their causes based on indications and research
• Making suggestions for improvement based on practical experience and insights from malfunctions, discussed with the manager
• Assist in setting up production machines during product transitions
