Supply chain manager Boxmeer

Our client is a global company in surrounding of Boxmeer who is committed to delivering high-quality products/services to their customers worldwide. As they continue to expand within Europe, we are seeking an experienced

SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGER

In this challenging position you and your team will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the supply chain operations (inbound/outbound) while ensuring full compliance with international trade regulations and standards. You work closely with other stakeholders within and outside the organization (a.o. government agencies, customs authorities, external auditors and third-party logistics providers) to ensure seamless coordination and alignment of all supply chain processes while maintaining compliance with contractual obligations and regulatory requirements.

Task & Responsibilities

• you are a peoplemanager, building, managing, motivating and developing strong teams, giving them coaching, guidance and training.
• you are a detail-oriented individual with good understanding of trade compliance laws and regulations across various regions.
• You are responsible for managing the communication and supplier performance with headquarters and the European supply chain team
• You participate in continuous improvement projects related to import/export, new shipping methods and routes.
• You are responsible for vendor management: implementing new vendors, developing vendor standards, performance management.
  

• Proven track record in a Supply Chain leadership role (5 years+) within an international, logistics/distribution operation;
• Preferably a completed bachelor's (or master's) degree in logistics or supply chain;
• APICS, Lean Six Sigma, Situational Leadership, Prince 2 is an advantage;
• You support your team members in fulfilling their roles and personal development;
• Broad experience in import/export with good knowledge of AEO/Customs laws and regulations
• Good knowledge of professional ERP or supply chain planning systems
• Experience and skills in project management
• leading new product introductions, process improvements, product/demand planning.
• Strong communication and coordination skills with different stakeholders: headquarters, logistics, finance, management, vendors
• Good command of Dutch and English, spoken and written.
• Business Process Analysis.
• Established track record of exceeding targets, KPI’s and SLA’s in a quality led, legislative compliant environment.
• Proven experience in working with ERP systems.
• Well versed in Microsoft Office tools (a.o. Excel, Power Point) and PowerBI;
• Prepare reports and use them to motivate results.
