About the position:
We are currently seeking a skilled Datacenter Technician to join our client’s team in Breda. As a Datacenter Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and ensuring the smooth operation of the IT infrastructure in the European region.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor ticketing queues and manage individual requests efficiently.
• Install new systems, including labeling, documentation, testing, and configuration.
• Perform patch activities and troubleshoot cabling issues.
• Coordinate remote hands requests and monitor environmental monitoring systems.
• Coordinate work permits and supervise activities of suppliers.
• Participate in minor and major project activities.
• Follow standard ITSM processes such as change management and incident management.
• Perform visual inspection rounds and maintain cleanliness of data centers and hub rooms.

Requirements:

• MBO in a technical field.
• Experience in a data center, hosting, or telecommunications organization.
• Knowledge of IT infrastructure, cabling standards, and networking principles.
• Familiarity with server operating systems, such as Windows and Linux, is advantageous.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a service-oriented attitude.
• Fluency in Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
