Within the Engineering Department of our client in the automotive industry, their Electrical Department is responsible for developing, researching, defining and testing electrical and electronic components. They develop vehicles with various drives (diesel, hybrid, CNG, Fuel Cell, trolley, electric) in dimensions from 8 to 24m with the most modern design.

• You will be responsible for developing and defining electrical systems for hybrid and electric vehicles
• You follow the project from concept phase to delivery to the customer
• You will be in contact with suppliers, other departments of the Engineering Department and the customer
• You test new developments together with colleagues or suppliers and report the results
• You test your theoretical knowledge with practice in our production departments(!)
• You define electrical wiring and components (electromobility and vehicle electronics).
• You program specific digital controls for which you will receive training on the job.
• You elaborate definition files of hybrid and electric vehicles:
• Software modifications & vehicle schematics.
• You will act as an inquiry point for our after-sales services and production departments.

• You have graduated as Master Industrial Sciences option Electricity/Electromechanics or Electronics/ICT or enjoy equivalence through experience
• You can work independently as well as in a team
• You have a clear affinity with electromobility, vehicle electronics or software development
• You have a good basic knowledge of electricity and electronics
• You are familiar with drawing electrical schematics and have experience with programming
• Designing PLC applications (IEC 61131-PLC) and knowledge of digital techniques are not foreign to you
• Experience in the automotive sector is a plus.
• You can communicate fluently in English (speaking, reading and writing).
• Practical knowledge of Dutch, French and German is a plus.
