As an Operations Specialist (Dutch speaking), you will support the Operations departments within ING Commercial Finance in the operational processes and help them to continuously improve their processes.

You carry out quality checks at the various processes and output checks at work of the various Operations departments. You are also responsible for maintaining data quality. All this with the aim of providing the best service to our customers within the Operations department of ING Commercial Finance.

As an Operations Specialist, you will work in the Circle ING Commercial Finance in Bunnik, the Netherlands. You will report to the Circle Lead ING Commercial Finance.

About the role

  • Ensuring quality, continuous improvement of processes and risk management are essential. You play a key role in this. You randomly check the output of the various departments and record the findings. The main goal is to further improve the quality of collateral management and the quality of the underlying processes in the future .In addition, you have an important role in raising awareness among employees that quality is important.
  • You facilitate the Operations departments and the organization in various ways. In this way, you facilitate the design of measuring instruments. And you help the employees and leads to get started with information themselves. You don't chew for this, but you support your colleagues and ensure that they are able to retrieve the right data and be a leader in fact-based working. There is a practical component to this (the how), but it is also about creating awareness among your colleagues.
  • You look for radical improvements in your work and you show courage. Because you are good at maintaining contact with the squads involved (including in the Tribes and other channels) and stakeholders, it is no problem for you to work with them on the implementation. You are really the right person to set up task forces and lead them.
  • You are responsible for quickly resolving incidents, answering complex questions from Operational Services, Customer Loyalty Teams and Sales and answering complex questions from other corners of the organization. You do everything you can to always give the best answer to questions.
  • In your position, it is very important that you are continuously focused on identifying areas for improvement in the operational processes and that you proactively take the required action. In addition, you continuously and enthusiastically challenge the various Operations departments and the leads to make improvements themselves and you are an ambassador of agile working in everything. If it is necessary to deliver on the customer promise, you will be involved in the operation yourself, for example in the event of peak loads or other incidents.
  • And last but not least, you are an enthusiastic ambassador of the Orange Code. Not only do you subscribe to it, but you also actively propagate the code.

  • Taking care of preconditions so that the teams can function properly
  • Preparation and analysis of periodic management information
  • You take the customer's needs as a starting point in everything and your main aim is to (help) set up the services of ING Commercial Finance customers according to the highest quality standards and to contribute as much as possible to creating the 'WOW' feeling among these customers.
