In deze rol werk je met Oracle Development op senior niveau, waarbij diepgaande kennis van Oracle Database 12c en hoger, SQL, PLSQL, XML, Unix en shell scripting vereist is. Je gaat complexe problemen analyseren en oplossen, release management uitvoeren, en hoogwaardige codes leveren die leesbaar, schaalbaar en robuust zijn. Je communicatievaardigheden zijn essentieel, net als je vermogen om in een team te werken, actief deel te nemen aan Agile/Scrum evenementen, en andere ontwikkelaars te coachen. Requirements

Technical knowledge of & experience with Oracle Development on senior level:

- Deep knowledge of Oracle Database 12c and higher

- Deep knowledge of SQL and PLSQL

- Knowledge of XML

- Knowledge of Unix and shell scripting

Analyze & solve incidents / bugs / defects:

Is capable of doing a Root Cause analysis of (complex) incidents / bugs/ defects within acceptable timelines

Perform release management:

Capable of doing all Release Management activities for all Oracle applications

Handling complex issues:

- Is capable of making reliable estimation of his/her own work

- Does impeccable data analysis using (ad-hoc) queries

- Is capable of translating functional requirements in a development solution

- Can think of alternative solutions

- Can define pros and cons of the different solutions

- Is capable of defining solutions for IT issues together with business analysts and architects

- Is capable of phasing out all CRM Sales systems (TAS, ADB, Promo tool, etc.)

- Is capable to initiate technical improvements

Delivering high quality codes:

The delivered code:

- Is (relatively) easy to read

- Is scalable, maintainable, testable, robust

- Is minimally tested (unit tested, system tested)

- Contains acceptable # of defects / incidents

Communication skills:

- Is actively participating in the team

- Is actively thinking along

- Can communicate with people from Consumer Marketing, Operations, etc.: can understand what the other party is saying, can make himself/herself clear to the other party

- Has an opinion, also outside the Oracle domain, and is actively sharing it

Coaching and developing:

- Is capable of coaching and growing other Oracle developers

- Is capable of coaching  team members

Agile focused:

- Is (pro)actively participating in scrum events of his/her team (standups, refinements, planning sessions, retro’s, reviews, etc.)

- Fits in our Agile / Scrum Way of Working

- Has a “can do” mentality

- Let himself/herself not be stopped by impediments, but takes action to proceed

- Actively asks people if he/she need information to make progress

- Actively brings knowledge to the team if needed

What you can expect

Hybrid working. A minimum of 2 days per week in the office is required

Start date: A.S.A.P.

Duration: 1 year from start date

Hours per week: 40 hours
Hourly rate: € 90 / 105 all-in, ex BTW

Note: Candidates need to have a registration at the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KvK) to perform this "freelance" assignment.
