Engineer Gas/Water Service Pipes Echt

We are looking for Gas/Water (Electricity) Service Pipeline Engineers for the South region. Our client supports their customers in all common underground infrastructure solutions. Are you a flexible mechanic with experience in underground pipe work? If so, we would like to get in touch with you. If you have experience in groundwork for laying and fitting pipework, that's a plus because you start and grow faster!

• You have a level 2 / 3 diploma first mechanic gas, water and heat distribution;
• You have several years of work experience as a fitter within the connection process water and gas;
• You value safety for yourself and others;
• You enjoy working together in a team of fellow mechanics;
• Managing the team;

  • Determining the sequence of work
  • Processing administration in system
• Locating cables and pipes using drawings (Klic notification);
• Installation and replacement of gas and water (and electricity) connection pipes including all common assembly operations.

This position also requires you to be able to speak, read and write fluent Dutch due to safety guidelines.

Our client is a company with more than 150 years of specialisation and is a market leader in above-ground and underground pipeline and cable infrastructure. They develop, build and maintain connections, networks and installations in the fields of energy, water and industry. In this technician position, you will work for the distribution business unit. They are specialists in underground infrastructure for electricity, water, media and heat. Their branches are spread throughout the Netherlands and employ some 500 professionals.

In Limburg, work is carried out from the Echt location. These projects include construction and maintenance of main and service pipelines. Due to the growth of our work for Enexis and WML, they are now expanding their teams with experienced professionals.

We are looking for an independent mechanic who enjoys working outdoors (and indoors). We further consider it important that you are willing to continue to develop yourself through education and training. Furthermore, you have or are:

• A level 2/3 diploma. Think of courses such as distribution engineer gas/water/electricity;
• VIAG designation at VP or AVP level (Skilled Person or All-round Skilled Person);
• A B(E) driving licence and a valid VCA basic certificate;
• Living in the Limburg region.
