who are you

To get started as an warehouse employee at Bidfood, you have a good command of the English or Dutch language. You preferably have experience with order picking, but this is not a requirement. You are preferably in possession of your own transportation because of the working hours of the morning shift. Furthermore, you recognize yourself in the following:

• You are available full-time in 2 shifts (Mon-Fri). Do you prefer part-time? Then you are available for a minimum of 24 hours. Thursday, Friday and Saturday are required.
• You are physically fit because you can lift crates of maximum 20 kilos
• You don't mind working on Saterdays or Sundays
• You are available to work morning shifts during the first 3 weeks of the training program (requirement) and afternoon shifts in the fourth week
• You have preferably already worked with a voice picking system. No experience? No problem! We'll teach you during the onboarding process!

what will you do

As an warehouse employee, you are responsible for putting together orders. You do this using instructions given to you via the voice picking system. You look for the required products in the warehouse and place them in the roll containers. Once the order is complete, you bring the roll container by car to the loading point. There the formers make sure that the roll container will be sent to the right customer. This way you can move on to the next order!
Physical strength is essential for lifting crates weighing up to 20 kg.

where will you work

Bidfood is the online catering wholesaler of the Netherlands. As a warehouse employee at Bidfood in Ede, you'll help deliver top products to your favorite restaurants. Locations include the National Distribution Center (LDC) and the National Fresh Center (LVC). The LVC is a warehouse with refrigerated products where the temperature is kept around 4 degrees Celsius. Here they offer a pleasant working environment in a refrigerated setting. Due to working in a refrigerated environment, you will receive € 0.53 on top of your hourly wage. This is already calculated in the hourly wage above.
