As a Linux engineer, you will design, build and lead Linux environment for various purposes. Your focus is on continuous improvement and automation, using state of the art scripting languages and tooling. You feel comfortable working in an Agile/Scrum or DevOps team.

We have different challenges available at several of our clients. Your job will be a mix of the following tasks:

• Configure the Linux Operating system for deployment and integration of applications.
• Create scripts to automate installation and configuration of various system components.
• Configure the network interfaces and implement strict firewall rules.

• Troubleshoot integration problems related to application deployment and security.
• Provide Linux DevOps support to the development teams.
• Ensure the teams backlog is complete and up to date.

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Information Management, Computer Science, Electronics or other related fields.
• You have a minimum of two years of experience working with Linux operating systems
• Strong affinity with IT.
• Knowledge of continuous delivery process and technologies (GIT, Jenkins, Ansible, Jira)
• Experience in working with configuration management systems (e.g. GIT, artifactory).
• You have excellent communication skills in English, mastering the Dutch language is a plus.
