Vacatureomschrijving

As Financial Accountant you are responsible for all financial and accounting processes within Enza Zaden Nederland. You ensure a correct general ledger and stock administration. You check and analyse balance sheet items, suspense accounts and journal entries, adjust where necessary and generate and process (corrective) journal entries. Depending on your experience and role distribution within the team, you focus on specific areas such as accounts payable (order to cash), taxes (VAT and VPB), assets, internal settlements, etc.
You contribute to the monthly, quarterly and financial year-end reporting and support other activities in the department such as compliance programmes and change projects. You communicate well with colleagues and move easily in an international environment with its cultural differences. You will work in a close-knit team and report to the Finance Manager.

Gevraagd

You have completed a financial education and have at least 3 years of relevant work experience, preferably in an international environment. You are enthusiastic, communicate clearly and process data accurately. In addition, you are used to working independently, but you also function excellently in a team environment.
 
You are proactive and able to take a critical look at activities and processes, know how to identify deviations quickly and are keen to make improvements. You enjoy a varied range of tasks, are customer-oriented and have strong analytical skills. Finally, you are good at keeping an overview and setting priorities.
 
In short, you

• Have a completed financial education at BSc-level;
• Have at least 3 years' relevant work experience (in accounting/record-to-report positions), preferably in an international work environment;
• Have extensive experience with Excel and various software packages (Microsoft Dynamics is an advantage);
• Have a good command of the English languages;
• Are accurate, responsible, stress-resistant, proactive, flexible and solution-oriented.
