Our client is a multinational biopharmaceutical whose mission is to focus to be a global leader in generics and medicines which may help millions of people around the world. Based in Haarlem, their mission is that everyone should have access to quality medicines.

Role description
As QC Technician you will be responsible for conducting microbiological testing in compliance with regulations to assess sample quality. Your main tasks will involve performing routine work on provided samples to maintain stringent quality control aligned with GMP guidelines. Your expertise will contribute significantly to ensuring the reliability and accuracy of the analytical processes, ultimately guaranteeing the high standards of our client’s products.

Responsibilities
Conduct routine testing of raw materials, and printed packaging materials, finished products, stability samples, and in-process control samples following standard operating procedures (SOP) and committed timelines.
-Manage quality-related tasks such as handling deviations, investigating out of specification results and monitoring out of trend results in stability and released products.
-Write, review, and approve test results to ensure accuracy and compliance with quality standards.
-Actively participate in advanced problem-solving initiatives, root cause analysis, troubleshooting activities, and discussions related to quality and test results.
-Provide first-line troubleshooting support for laboratory equipment to maintain optimal functionality and efficiency.

Requirements
-Bachelor’s degree in Analytical Chemistry, preferably MLO or HLO.
-Prior experience in a GMP environment.
-Alternatively, experience in Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology, or a similar manufacturing setting.
-Proficient in UPLC/HPLC techniques.
-Flexibility and willingness to work in various shifts as needed.
