We are looking for Machine Operators who want to take responsibility for one or more machines in production. As a Machine Operator you check the quality and continuity of the machines. You are precise and accurate, because you know that a small difference in margin can have a major impact on the final product. You are responsible for carrying out maintenance and conversion of machines and you are involved in preventing and solving malfunctions. In addition, you know the quality standards and you know how to package the biscuits in accordance with production planning. You will generally work day shifts or two shifts, but you may be asked to work a night shift when busy. However, this is only necessary for a few weeks in the year and you always get the choice. All in all, a very varied and interesting position, in which you can learn a lot and develop yourself further!

You will work for one of the largest producers within the Confectionery Industry. The production hall and head office are in Harderwijk; this is where you come to work. The company started in 1880 and since 1958 they are located in Harderwijk. This company produces a wide range of snacks, typical dutch cookies like 'kruidnoten & taai-taai', biscuits with or without chocolate, wafers, crispbread and children's biscuits. Almost all private label biscuits in supermarkets in Northwestern Europe come from this company!

Wij vragen

• MBO 2 or 3 work and thinking level;
• Technical (mechanical) insight;
• HACCP and other food safety requirements;
• Good command of the English or Dutch language;
• Background in the food or technology sector and/or at least 3 years of experience in a similar position.
