Get ready to step into a project-based role within the high-tech industry.
As an Equipment Engineer, you’ll tackle diverse projects within collaborative teams, focusing on enhancing specific manufacturing plant components. Your role spans the complete Equipment Creation Process, from initial customer consultation to design, realization, commissioning, and handover to maintenance. Additionally, you’ll provide support in operations and manage equipment design outsourcing within our CAPEX supply base.
Your role demands professionalism, organizational prowess, and effective communication to ensure project success aligned with predefined agreements, costs, and timelines. Collaborating closely with equipment suppliers and internal teams, including Equipment Engineers, Production Engineers, Quality Engineers, Purchasing, Facility Services, and maintenance colleagues, you’ll proactively identify and address potential risks through collaborative problem-solving.
- Take part in diverse projects to enhance manufacturing plant components within multidisciplinairy teams.
- Take end-to-end ownership of the Equipment Creation Process.
- Provide operational support and manage equipment design outsourcing in the CAPEX supply base.
- Demonstrate professionalism, organizational prowess, and effective communication.
- Collaborate closely with equipment suppliers and internal teams.
- Proactively identify and address risks for successful project completion.
Gevraagd
- Bachelor’s/Master’s in Electro & Control, Software, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, or related.
- 5+ years’ engineering experience, preferably in machine building or industrial production/process.
- Project involvement and familiarity with PRINCE or IPMA methodologies.
- Affinity with process technology and installations.
- Desired multidisciplinary work experience, especially in designing and implementing advanced equipment.
- Proficient in Dutch and English.
- Willingness to occasionally travel to suppliers (national/international).
- Ability to read, analyze, and modify technical drawings and P&IDs, design mechanical installations, and verify strength calculations.
- General knowledge of process instrumentation and related mechanical components.
