Do you ever think about food safety? Most people don't and they don't have to. They can trust that this meat has been processed in a neat and clean factory, partly thanks to you. Because although you are invisible to most people who will eat this meat, you do have an important role in this process if you work as a cleaning employee at this meat processing company in Ijsselstein.

Activities

If you work for this company, you will not work for a regular company, but at the most modern meat factory in Europe. About 800 people work in the production here. As a cleaner you have an important task. When your working day is over, the machines, floors and walls in the factory are completely clean and ready for use. You take your job seriously, because you know what the risks and dangers are within the food industry. You work according to the 5-step cleaning and you also work with the scrubbing machine. Once all machines have been cleaned, hosed down and disinfected, your job is done and you can get back into the car or step on your bike with a satisfied feeling.

Working days and times

You work Monday to Friday from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.

What are you bringing?

- You have experience with cleaning work or you are willing to learn everything about the cleaning profession.
- You have a great sense of responsibility and you take your work seriously.
- You have a good command of the Dutch or English language.
- You are available full-time and flexible: is your help needed with other activities? That is no problem for you.

Besides that:
- You live in the Ijsselstein region (max 25 km).
- You do have your own transport, such as a moped, bicycle or car, and you can get to the work location (Kamerlingh Onneslaan in Ijsselstein) yourself.
- You have a good command of the Dutch or English language, spoken and written? Working in a cool room is no problem for you.
- You also have no problem with physically heavier work (bending, lifting and carrying are common in this position).
- You are prepared to obtain your VCA certificate through QPS Works.
