Vacatureomschrijving

• Perform periodic inspections of production facilities and utilities;
• Resolve reported failures of mechanical components of production facilities;
• Timely calling in Maintenance Engineers and colleagues from other trades through the MTD Chief, or indicating the need to hire external expertise, manpower or machinery;
• Disassemble, assemble and adjust equipment;
• Making proposals to improve technical situations;
• Participate in projects and assist in the installation of new facilities;
• Discussing progress, details and problems with the supervisor;
• Correcting deviations in the execution of orders or signalling deficiencies to the chief;
• Informing third-party and in-house fitters about work situations, details of (production) processes, procedures and regulations;
• Incidentally supervising, instructing and monitoring compliance with professional, quality, health & safety, environmental and safety regulations by third-party fitters;
• Record relevant data on the use and maintenance of equipment and tools belonging to the department;
• Taking initiatives and carrying out improvement and overhaul work.

• Technical education at (at least) MBO level;
• At least 5 years' experience in a similar position;
• Communication skills;
• Accurate and able to work independently.
