Role description
As the EHS Specialist, your role is pivotal in upholding environmental, health, and safety (EHS) compliance across our organization. You will manage EHS permits, coordinate with regulatory bodies, and foster a culture of ongoing improvement in EHS processes. This includes overseeing all facets of EHS permitting to ensure compliance with local and national regulations, devising strategies for acquiring and renewing permits as needed and staying well-informed about EHS regulatory requirements and updates.

Responsibilities
–Oversee EHS governance for permitting and compliance.
–??Assist in EHS permitting for projects.
–Enhance EHS regulatory compliance processes.
–Serve as a Subject Matter Expert for EHS legislation.
–Manage EHS document control processes.
–Enforce corporate EHS standards.

Requirements
–Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
–Fluency in both Dutch and English (spoken and written).
–Knowledge of ISO14001 and ISO45001 management system standards.
–Additional certification such as Safety Manager level 3 (“HVK”) is preferred.
