• You integrate a variety of data sources to ensure streamlined and standardized processes for an efficient data loading into the data warehouse;
• You are responsible for developing and deploying ETL processes for loading data such as Oracle server with SSIS and SQL servers;
• You provide technical help to resolve potential problems, you also look proactively for gaps and help resolve those gaps with your technical experience;
• You deliver and maintain standardized documentation for ETL processes, data models, and configuration for future reference and knowledge sharing within the company;
• You collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for a perfect integration of data into organization-wide processes;
• You help and guide team member and actively contribute to knowledge sharing initiatives;
• You optimize data models and queries to improve the performance of reports. You develop automated solutions for data processing;
• You actively seek opportunities to improve the usability and relevance of data reports;
•  You stay up to date with the latest models, tools and trends in the area of data engineering.

Gevraagd

• You have a bachelors or masters degree in computer science or a related field;
• You have at least 5 years of relevant working experience as a data engineer using SSIS and SSAS on-prem;
• You have a good understanding of data modeling concepts, including relationships, measures and calculations;
• You have experience with data warehousing and ETL processes;
• You have experience with data management, preferably within big and international organizations;
• You have an excellent understanding of the English language both written and verbal, good command of the Dutch language is a big pré;
• You have a EU citizenship and passport. 

Aanbod

Arbeidsvoorwaarden

• A monthly salary between the €3800- €4700 based on an 40 hour week (depends on your experience);
• Holiday allowance: 8,33% of your gross year salary
• Holiday days: 38 days;
• Traveling compensation: 23 cent/kilometer (maximum of € 300,- per month);
• Healthcare coverage: € 50,- per month ;
• Training opportunities.

For an international and innovative company in the area of Middelburg we are looking for a Data Engineer. You will become part of a new and growing team within the company. The team currently exists out of approximately 5 persons and is growing. The company has big ambitions with data and you can be part of this team that is expected to grow significantly overtime.

As a Data Engineer you are responsible for a variety of assignment like, integrating diverse data sources to streamline and standardize processes for an efficient data loading into the datawarehouse, you develop and deploy ETL processes for loading data, and you deliver and maintain standardized documentation of all ETL processes, data models etc.

As a data engineer you will design and maintain the data infrastructure that is crucial for connecting, organizing and unlocking data within the company. The unlocked data will provide crucial insights to enhance the business.
