Would you like to work in Jumbo's largest mechanized distribution center in the heart of the Netherlands? With no less than 85,000 m2 of technology, logistics and data, it is a unique workplace and perhaps your new workplace! The Jumbo distribution center in Nieuwegein is expanding and we are looking for Equipment Operators. 

What will you do?

Our client manages the logistics of JUMBO's high-bay warehouse in Nieuwegein, overseeing the storage and retrieval of goods using conveyors and automatic cranes. In this role, you will be involved in both logistical activities and the operation of the high-bay warehouse's technology. As an Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for operating machinery and logistics systems, addressing minor malfunctions, and conducting quality checks. However, your primary duty will be to monitor the production process and make necessary adjustments. Safety and punctuality are paramount in this position, and our client values your active participation in continuous improvement efforts.

How will we pay you?

You start in DC JUMBO DRY: the already operating distribution center. For the 38-hour working week you will receive a nice salary €17,76 - € 18,58 brutto per hour (which includes a 29% shift allowance). After the training period and if ready you will be transferred to the new DC JUMBO FRESH. Here they have a working week of 35 hours and your salary is € 18,92 per hour ( included 29% of shift allowance and a cold allowance of €0,29 cents per hour). What makes this vacancy unique?
