who are you

As an assembly worker, you are looking for a job full of challenge and variety. Within the assembly department there are different workplaces where you can work as an assembly employee. For example pre-assembly, department masts, department trucks, department final assembly, department upper frames and department booms. Enough challenge and growth opportunities so you do not have to get bored.

• you have technical work experience or a completed technical education at MBO 3 level;
• You can read technical drawings;
• you have a good command of the Dutch and/or English language.

what will you do

As an assembly technician you assemble modern mobile tower cranes. From a drawing and work instructions you build things like the drive, axles and cabin. But also the control system and engine.
You perform mechanical, hydraulic and electrical work from a drawing.

• you identify any delays in the assembly process of the cranes and report this to your team leader;
• you carry out inspections of the mobile tower cranes and resolve any malfunctions;
• you build and adjust electrical, hydraulic and mechanical systems on all types of mobile tower cranes.

where will you work

Spierings Mobile Cranes is a people-oriented organization. Although they have grown rapidly in recent years, it still feels like a family business. If you work at Spierings, you get the necessary PPE to do your job well. (Own work overalls and welding helmet). There is also plenty of room for socializing. And there is coffee, tea and soup ready for you in the canteen. You determine your own schedule in consultation with your supervisor. Would you like to start early in the morning or would you rather start later? It is all negotiable.

A lot of time and energy is put into your development. This happens during your work on the shop floor. But a lot of training is also given in the Spierings Academy, which is located in the Spierings building. Think about safety, reading technical drawings, electrical switching and much more. Everything to help you become even better in your field.

• 36 to 40-hour work week. Allowing you to have 1 afternoon off per week of your choice;
• 27 vacation days, 13 Adv days, non-contributory pension plan and travel allowance;
