What will you do?

As a technician, you are the point of contact for the operation of machinery and equipment. Your tasks include:

• Overall care for the good technical condition and operation of the refrigeration and production machinery as well as the buildings.
• Independently performing preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Executing technical preventive maintenance according to schedule.
• Solving malfunctions.
• Keeping logs and overviews.
• Active contribution to improving the operation of the machines.

Where will you work?

You will be working in the brand new factory in Rilland (Zeeland). At McCain Appetizers, they offer an energetic, no-nonsense workplace with friendly colleagues, clear communication, and a strong focus. The goal is to make high-quality, deep-frozen breaded vegetable snacks and cheese snacks that are found all over the world in supermarkets, restaurants, and fast-food chains. This includes breaded mushrooms, cheese snacks, and fried broccoli or cauliflower.

If you have an affinity for technology, are eager to learn, and proactive, there are also opportunities to start as a trainee maintenance mechanic. You will receive a 6-month training period to then work independently as a mechanic.
