We are looking for an Environmental Engineer to develop and support environmental programs and standards across FPSO and new energy projects, focusing on assessments, governance, design methodologies, and training to ensure sustainability and compliance with international practices.

Tasks & responsibilities: 

• Develop environmental programs to optimise the company's activities in FPSO operations, new energies, and technologies. 
• Prepare calculations and reports to assess the environmental aspects of projects.
• Support Environmental Governance by assessing client Environmental and Social Impact Assessments (ESIAs) and ensuring project conformance with international good practice standards, including those by the International Finance Corporation.
• Provide input on Environmental Design methodologies, including ENVID, ALARP environmental risk assessments, GHG Calculations, and Energy Efficiency Assessments. 
• Offer subject matter expertise in the development of corporate environmental standards and governance. 
• Respond to environmental engineering queries from operating units within the company. 
• Conduct training for staff and contractors on environmental compliance, best practices, and awareness. 

Gevraagd

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field of Engineering or Science.
• 5-10 years of experience with an Oil and Gas or EPC company working as an Environmental Engineer.
• Hands-on experience in developing environmental reports and calculations. 
• Experience with offshore facilities design (multidiscipline), and the ability to translate client and other requirements into specific design philosophies for execution. 
• A self-starter with excellent interpersonal and organisational skills. 
• Experience in facilitating workshops and training sessions.
• An innovative and collaborative nature. 
• Demonstrated leadership skills and proactive behaviour. 
• Flexibility and adaptability to respond to operational changes. 
• Fluency in English (both verbally and in writing), with strong communication skills in developing presentations and training materials for both internal and external audiences.
• Willingness to travel, as international business travels may be required. 
• Experience with FPSO systems is preferred. 
• Broad knowledge of different offshore systems, ideally including Topsides and Vessel.
