What are you going to do?

• Translate complex information into structured and user-friendly texts in Dutch and/or English;
• Working closely with technical experts, engineers and designers to obtain and verify required information;
• Identify target groups to present information appropriately to the end user;
• Plan, manage and track the progress of projects.

Where are you going to work?
As a technical writer you will be working for leading, often international organizations. You will work within multidisciplinary project teams with a high degree of independence. Projects are carried out partly at one of our offices in the Netherlands, partly at home and on location at the client. Flexible workplaces and remote working are very common and that includes flexible working hours. Within Etteplan you are never alone. Together with about 60 other technical writers there is always an opportunity to exchange ideas. In addition, you report weekly to your project leader or project manager.

Gevraagd

What do we ask?

• Excellent command of the Dutch or English language spoken and written;
• A technical background is not a requirement. Curiosity, precision and sense of structure are important skills;
• Completed college or university education in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or similar is a plus;
• Willingness to travel and work at your client's location. Being in possession of a driver's license is very useful;
• Ability to work well with various software packages.

A temporary contract which will be converted to a permanent contract upon good performance. We also offer a good basic salary (€3,000 - €4,500 gross per month based on full-time employment) and attractive fringe benefits with a collective pension plan, vacation allowance, travel allowance.
