As a reach truck driver in the cold store, you are responsible for moving goods safely and accurately within the cold storage facility. You will work in an environment with temperatures around freezing point. Of course you will receive protective clothing and you will drive a closed reach truck.Do you experience no problems working in a cool environment and do you want to earn a good salary in 5 shifts?Then read on! 

As a reach truck driver, your duties will include;

• Operating reach trucks to move and stack goods in the cold room.
• Loading and unloading trucks using the reach truck.
• Ensure proper storage of products according to company guidelines.
• Checking the quality and quantity of incoming and outgoing goods.
• Compliance with safety regulations and procedures to prevent accidents.
• Maintaining a clean and organized workplace.

Gevraagd

In order to properly fulfill the position of Reach Truck Driver, you must meet the following requirements:

• Demonstrable experience as a reach truck driver, preferably in a refrigerated environment.
• Valid reach truck certificate.
• Ability to work in cold environments and perform physical work.
• Accuracy and an eye for detail.
• Team player with good communication skills.
• Flexibility to work in a 5 shift system.
• You speak the English or Dutch language. 

 

Aanbod

You will of course receive a nice reward for your hard work, namely;

• A good starting salary of € 3,300 gross per month excluding holiday pay.
• Collective labor agreement increase of 5% as of July 1st 2024.
• If you perform well, you have a chance of a permanent contract.
• 8.33% holiday pay.
• €0.21c per km from the first km.
