Contractors are an important part of the business of Vanderlande. Examples of works are steelworks, mechanical & electrical installation and software. Corporate HSE has developed a new “Contractor & Supplier Management HSE Standard”. The objective of this Vanderlande Corporate HSE Standard is to set the minimum requirements for contractors and suppliers management to prevent injuries incidents or unsafe processes. Continuous improvement should be ensured by the performance management process. The guideline is set, but the further definition of this process is yet unclear.

The goal is to define a process on how to ensure the proper level of HSE management from our contractors prior to start working for Vanderlande. Therefore the current situation should be investigated to define which steps to be taken to prepare our internal and external stakeholders to embed this new standard in the contractor and supplier management process.

Department

The Corporate HSE Department is responsible for proper advise towards the operational stakeholders within Vanderlande. A team of 7 HSE Experts is providing this advice to the entire Vanderlande organization globally. They provide support and guidance towards achieving global and local strategies.

Your responsibilities

• Understand set up of the “Contractor & Supplier Management HSE Standard”
• Identify key stakeholders (internal and external)
• Investigate current situation
• Define steps to be taken to embed this in the process
• Liaise with key contractors and stakeholders
• Report on own work

Your profile

• Strong communication skills (Fluency in English)
• Ability to liaise with different layers of the organization
• Mandatory enrollment to a Dutch Education System & resident of The Netherlands
