About the position:
We are seeking a skilled Safety & Health Program Manager to join the Safety, Health & Environment team at our client’s Veghel site. In this role, you will oversee complex safety initiatives while also driving improvements and innovation in safety and health practices.

Responsibilities:
-Manage complex safety programs (including ATEX)
-Provide guidance and inspiration to managers and employees, leveraging expertise in safety practices.
-Develop and execute the Safety and Health year plan.
-Identify opportunities for improvement and innovation in safety and health, including initiatives focused on safety awareness, culture, leadership, and behavior.
-Lead and support accident investigations and incident reporting.
-Manage stakeholder relationships and external audits, serving as a key point of contact for relevant authorities and stakeholders.

Requirements:
-Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as safety, environment, technology, engineering, or management.
-Certification as a Higher Safety Expert (HVK), Integral Safety Expert (IVK), or Management of Safety, Health & Environment (MoSHE).
-5+ years of experience in the process industry.
-Strong skills in program and stakeholder management, analytical thinking, coaching, communication, and influencing.
