For our client a international logistics company in Venlo, we are looking for a

Procurement Employee

In the position of Procurement Employee, you are together with yout team responsible for their procurement administration. You ensure that the stocks are always up-to-date and that they never "miss out". You also are involved in (national) procurement projects and tenders, providing the operation with valuable advice on stocks and alternatives for existing consumables.

Your responsibilities are:

• Procurement Process Mastery: You lead the way, ensuring the operations are always well-stocked and organized, from the smallest materials to the significant commodities;
• Perfect Sourcing: Bringing in the right goods and services promptly, always ensuring top value for money;
• Vendor Relations: Nurturing relationships with their esteemed suppliers and managing purchasing contracts to guarantee operational efficiency;
• Supplier Evaluation and Expansion: Assessing their current suppliers based on existing agreements and scouting for top-notch new suppliers through market research and competitive quotes, with sustainability as a key focus area.

• MBO or Bachelor degree in procurement, international business, facility management or similar;
• Experience as a buyer, procurement or purchasing;
• Experience in experience with procurement systems;
• Excellent command of the Dutch and English language;
• Yur are decisiveness, independence, persuasiveness and result-orientation;
• Available minimum for 32 hours a week.

• Good salary based on education and experience (min. € 2400, - max.€ 3300,- min.gross a month);
