We are looking for a motivated quality control employee for our customer in Blerick. This customer is one of the largest suppliers of berries throughout Europe and provides thousands of customers with tasty blueberries. From their facility in Venlo, the berries are packed in large quantities and shipped to the right customers. To ensure quality, several employees play a crucial role as quality controllers. In this position, you are responsible for keeping track of temperatures and checking the fresh produce. Quality cannot be guaranteed without you, which is why you are indispensable.

• You will perform sampling to check the quality of blueberries. Hereby you will perform research on the temperature and check for any mold;
• If necessary you report to management about deviations and bad results. You document all research results on paper and then process them independently in the system;
• If necessary, you control the production line and ensure that certain shipments are rejected. After all, a few bad berries means the rejection of the entire shipment.

Gevraagd

• You have MBO working and thinking level;
• Experience in a similar position is a plus;
• You are eager to learn and open to internal training on product knowledge;
• You can cope well with the responsibilities within your position and have insight into the work processes within this company;
• Working in a cold environment (wind chill 10 degrees) is not a problem for you;
• You master the Dutch or English language in word and writing. (Knowledge of Polish is an advantage).

Aanbod

• Gross hourly wage of €13,27 to €16, excluding surcharges;
• Surcharges: 125% for evening shift (19:00 - 23:00), 140% for night shift (23:00 - 6:00), 135% overtime pay for more than 38 hours;
• Chance of long-term employment with good performance;

• A job in 2 shifts, from 6:00 am to 3:00 pm and 3:00 pm to 10:00 pm;
• Working days from Monday to Saturday (2 Saturdays per month).
