Financial Controller (32-40 uur ) Venlo

For our client, an international logistics company in Venlo, we offer a challenging position for a Financial Controller (32-40 hours).

What will you be doing?

Timely compiling and submitting financial documents, including analyses of payroll costs, profit and loss variations, and balance sheet revisions for various business entities.
Additionally, you will verify indirect expenditures for compliance and accuracy, prepare comprehensive budgets and financial forecasts in consultation with management, and provide timely reporting to internal and external stakeholders.
Initiating process and procedure improvements is encouraged, and contributing to the implementation of new financial systems is a focus area.
You will act as a financial partner for the entity and contribute to strengthening financial knowledge within the organization, while also closely collaborating with management and other financial and business controllers.

• You have completed a relevant HBO education in Economics or Business Administration;
• You have at least 3 years of work experience in financial reporting, preferably in controlling departments;
• You have good knowledge of Excel and can establish connections between different (financial) systems;
• You have a good command of the English language, both written and spoken;
• You are analytical, systematic, possess strong communication skills, and can bridge the gap between users and information technologies;
• You are a team player, contribute ideas to the organization, seize opportunities to improve work processes, and take initiative;
• You are attentive to (internal) customers and can read between the lines; You are available for 32 to 40 hours per week.
