In the product development projects at R&D at this hightech company, you are responsible and focusing on electronic topics like embedded control, printed circuit boards for digital and analog electronics, motors, sensors and development of power electronics.

Together with architects you specify and agree on requirements based on customer demands. Together with embedded software designers you come up with technical designs and concepts that meet these objectives, properly balancing time, quality, accuracy, interdisciplinary interactions and taking cost into account.

Within the project you collaborate with colleagues from other disciplines than electronics and embedded software, like mechanics and also chemistry and physics, who are mainly responsible for e.g. ink and print head development. You review your ideas and jointly develop smart creative solutions that meet the overall project objectives. You test and review your model based design(s) by building prototypes to proof the feasibility of the routes you have identified

In this role there are plenty of opportunities to further develop yourself, e.g. to module responsible, electronics team leader or system architect.

Responsibilities:

• Designing of digital and analog electronics (such as embedded control and sensor control systems)
• Designing printed circuit boards and guiding outsourcing partners
• Selection of motors and sensors
• Development of power electronics
• Control on costs
• Make sure your designs are correctly implemented, which includes analysis, testing and documentation.
• Communicate and present effectively in a multi-disciplinary team

We are looking for an enthusiastic, pro-active person who is eager to dive into various technical problems. You have a structured way of working, excellent communications skills and you are ready to take initiative and responsibility. But most important: you have the ambition and the skills to develop yourself to a future position as Team Lead Electronics. You recognize yourself in the following requirements:

• Bachelor or Master degree in electronics or similar 
• At least 3 years of experience
• Preferably skilled in Matlab and able to read C/C++ code
• Knowledge of and experience with digital and analog electronics.
• Eligible to work in the Netherlands
• Available for 32-40 hours per week

Primary employment conditions

12 x a monthly salary based on experience and background between €3108 - €5175 excluding 13th month

8.33% holiday pay calculated over 12 monthly salaries

Contract form

At least an annual contract, where we would like to work towards an indefinite-term contract

You will always be paid 100% of your salary during your employment contract

Secondary conditions

Pension scheme (pension accrual from day 1)

Annual net €3500 training budget

Net €750 to set up your home workplace

Possibility of referral bonuses

25 days of vacation per year based on 40 hours

Travel allowance

Hybrid working, including 1 or 2 days a week at home
