Re-Vision, as Part of Extenda Retail Group, has matured its solution portfolio to support an Omni-Channel strategy and BYOD, helping retailers meet their shoppers' expectations and delivering identical functionality and experience both on the enterprise devices and the smartphone. Easy, convenient and in return more shopping experience; the My-iScan™ & My-Scan™. Both solutions are developed to be robust and scalable, whilst including features that demonstrate an eye for detail. Every offered module keeps the end user’s attention on the store offerings and serves their personal needs. Re-Vision’s short-term roadmap will be mainly focused on expanding the product portfolio with Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning to detect fraud and upsell to the customers in store.

Are you technically savvy and able to develop deep understanding of our software solutions? Able to define customer requirements and translate them into fully integrated, scalable and well performing software solutions for supermarket and hypermarkets worldwide? To strenghten our team in Waardenburg (Netherlands) we are looking for a Solution Architect.

What will you be doing?

As a Solution Architect you are responsible for the structure and technical design of one or more customer solutions. The structure and design of these solutions must follow the overall architectural and technical strategy within Extenda Retail and must support the overall company product strategy, both for the whole solution and for individual services. The structure and design shall also pave the way for efficient and robust implementations where both functionaland non-functional requirements are met for the solutions.

Responsibilities

• Understand and set customer solution specifications;
• Software requirements gathering;
• Software requirements analysis;
• Software solution design and estimate;
• Discuss solution with development teams;
• Development and configurations;
• QA of development;
• Keep up-to-date with technology trends;
• Evaluate and select appropriate software or hardware, and suggest integration methods;
• Assist with solving technical problems when they arise;
• Ensure the implementation of agreed architecture and infrastructure;
• Address technical concerns, ideas and suggestions;
• System documentation on a detailed level;
• Responsible for ensuring that technological guidance provided by the organization is maintained through the release/project implementation.

• Bachelor’s degree or equilivant reasoning level;
• At least 3 years of relevant work experience withing a company that delivers SaaS;
• Deep technical knowledge and a big interest in technology and software development,
• Architectural design methodologies and processes and how to apply software design patterns and styles;
• Familiar with architectural strategy, both creating and implementing;
• Ability to solve complexe problems and demonstrate your solutions clearly;
• Open minded and ready to bring in new influences and ideas;
• Service minded and available to the organization and to customers;
• Excellent English language skills (written and verbal).
