Your responsibilities
As a Maintenance Technician at Solarge in Weert, you ensure our brand-new production line functions technically flawlessly, always operating at desired speeds and delivering high-quality products. Your tasks include:

• Performing corrective and preventive maintenance
• Applying creative problem-solving skills to resolve issues when necessary
• Working primarily on the electrical aspects of machines
• Structuring and transferring knowledge to colleagues
• Quickly identifying and analyzing faults and problems, then resolving them

Solarge started as an R&D organization and is now transitioning into production, in an exciting shift from startup to scale-up. Our mission is to harness solar energy to support a livable Earth. We produce solar panels that not only have minimal CO2 emissions but are also PFAS-free and fully recyclable. Our material is robust, entirely circular, and locally produced.

With a dedicated team of 50 colleagues from diverse cultures, with English as the working language, you are on the cusp of joining a growing international company where sustainability is paramount. Your technical team consists of three specialists, including a mechanic with knowledge of both mechanics and electronics, a part-time mechanical technician, and the maintenance manager. As a Maintenance Technician at Solarge in Weert, you are versatile and proficient in electronics. With the following qualities, you start each day fully charged:
 

• Completed education in electrical engineering, electromechanics, or mechatronics
• Relevant experience in a similar role and affinity with technology
• Comfortable in a startup transitioning to a scale-up
• Solution-oriented with attention to detail, willing to assist in finding and devising effective solutions
• Fluent in both Dutch and English
