Role description
As the Construction Supervisor, your role entails overseeing construction activities, ensuring safety, quality, and technical standards are met, and acting as the main liaison between all parties involved in the project. Here’s a breakdown of your responsibilities and qualifications:

Responsibilities

• Enforce adherence to approved plans and instructions among contractors and suppliers.
• Conduct daily site inspections and promptly address safety issues.
• Lead or participate in meetings with contractors regarding various project aspects.
• Coordinate logistics for the construction phase, including facilities, material routing, and permits.
• Manage the work permit system to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Address disruptions, substandard work, and quality concerns in coordination with the EPC Manager.
• Provide directives to maintain safe and efficient work progress.
• Possess authority to halt work or remove personnel from the site for safety violations.

Requirements

• Requires MBO+/HBO level education in a technical discipline.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Construction Manager, ideally in complex projects within the Dairy/Food, Pharma, or Chemical sectors.
• Demonstrates robust project management and communication abilities in both Dutch and English.
• Prioritizes safety and is accustomed to managing diverse workloads.
• Personal attributes include decisiveness, analytical thinking, a resultsoriented approach, and a deep understanding of diverse interests.
• Holds VCA-VOL certification.
