Who you are

As a logistics employee, you are able to do physical work and you speak English. The next things are also no problem for you:

• you are available at least 3 days a week (24 – 40 hours)
• you must have your own transportation (car, scooter, moped or bicycle).
• finally, you can request a VOG (Certificate of Good Conduct)

What will you do

As a logistics employee at PostNL Zaltbommel, you will ensure that the flow of parcels runs as smoothly as possible! In a regular depot, we sort the packages, but Zaltbommel is a crossdock-location. Here the parcels are not being stored in the warehouse. Instead, the parcels will leave the warehouse the same night. So, you have to do a lot of (un)loading of the roll containers. When the transport enters, you empty the trucks. After, you make sure that the roll containers are being placed at the right spot. Later, when an empty truck enters the warehouse, you will load it with the roll containers. It can be quite heavy sometimes. Some roll containers can weigh between 200 kg and 300 kg.

• Rotation between evening, night and morning shifts. Hours between 19:30 PM and 7:30 AM or 00:00 AM and 11:30 AM or 4:00 AM and 15:00 PM.

Where will you work

PostNL is one of the biggest companies in the Netherlands. Every day PostNL makes sure that you will get your parcels at your house on time. But they can't do this alone. That's why you and your colleagues are so important. Together with a nice group of logistics employees, you will have a great working day, every day! The warehouse is on the Doornepol in Zaltbommel. Easy to reach by car, bicycle or scooter. All of your colleague can speak Dutch or basic English, so maybe you will learn a word or two!
