Are you a skilled Geotechnical Engineer capable of addressing the unique challenges of seabed-to-surface engineering in the offshore energy sector?

For one of our clients, leading seabed-to-surface engineering, we are looking for a Senior Geotechnical Engineer.

Tasks & responsibilities:

• Prepare foundation installation methods/procedures, including driveability assessments, leg penetration analyses, equipment selection, and noise mitigation measures; assess geotechnical-related risks.
• Conduct cable burial assessments, choose trenching equipment, review scour protection solutions, and estimate associated ground risks and opportunities. 
• Prepare and review reports on Client's documentation, in-house analyses, and contribute to project procedures and design documents at different project phases.
• Prepare subcontractor scopes of work, review subcontractor and client-provided procedures, and contribute to internal and client meetings. 
• Contribute to planning projects/tenders, and estimating resources needed per work package.
• Liaise with subcontractors, clients, and the company internally on technical and logistical project matters, providing technical coordination for subcontractor scopes.
• Provide support on-site at offshore wind projects or from the office for ad-hoc geotechnical questions as a geotechnical expert.
• Support research and development within Seabed Intervention, contribute to the expansion of knowledge, including lessons learned and work standards, and facilitate knowledge sharing. 
• Provide guidance to engineers within the field of expertise and mentor junior engineers. 

Gevraagd

• Master's or Doctorate degree in Civil/Geotechnical Engineering.
• 3-5 years of geotechnical work experience in offshore structures (design and/or installation).
• Understanding of geotechnical engineering perspective and interfaces with other disciplines within the context of the project.
• Excellent planning and organisation skills, approaching tasks in a structural and methodical manner.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Strong team player, willing to go the extra mile and able to work under tight deadlines if necessary.
• Ambition to broad knowledge field and develop in career path.
