Horeko - another merge of 2 Dutch words for Hospitaly and recipe costing - was born. Idea is to build a business with the main focus of developing software that would advance the hospitality industry. Apparently we are hitting the mark, because currently we have over 1500 customers using and trusting the software on a daily basis. Together they rate us with an amazing 8.9!

We’re making the work of our clients easier by adding smart functionalities to our recipes, cost management, warehouse, scheduling, employees, suppliers and accounting integrations. Think about future AI based optimizations and assistance. Next to that, we feel the responsibility to our vast group of users to keep the product running smoothly and react to issues swiftly.

In Exact Horeko, you’ll be working in the Microsoft tech stack: .Net Framework (moving to .Net core), a combination of vb.net and C# (moving towards 100% C#), SQL Server, operated on Azure. 

For the position of Software Engineer, we expect you to: 

• Love coding and everything that comes with it; 
• Have experience in the Microsoft tech stack
• Keep code clean and simple
• Like to work on business software 
• Have a bachelor's degree, post graduate diploma, professional degree or equivalent level in computer science or information technology;
• Good communication skills (fluency in English, both verbally and written).
