As a Data Analyst, you can make a difference by being a strong communicator towards the business and your data engineer colleagues. With your analytical skills you quickly understand business processes, but also you understand what your team needs to successfully deliver the end-product. In your project team you are able you help to analyze the data and design the end-to-end data solution. You are familiar with terms such as Agile, Data Modelling, SQL and perhaps a bit of R/Python.

• Understanding business processes and translating business needs into data requirements for (cloud based) data solutions (such as data platforms or dashboards)
• Able to translate business questions in concrete and testable hypothesis
• Analyzing data sets and preparing workload for your colleague data engineers and modelers.
• Familiar with data modeling techniques such as Dimensional and Relational modelling
• Able to support your Analytical end results through the right data visualization using tools such as PowerBI.
• Training and guiding junior consultants in the above responsibilities.
• Co-developing Valcon’s Data Analysis and Data Modelling propositions.
• Building and maintaining a relevant network with current and new customers.
