Do you know your way around capital equipment, services, and spare parts for EPC projects? Can you own critical packages end-to-end, from sourcing and negotiation to PO close-out, without missing a beat?

We are looking for a Buyer to source, negotiate, and manage purchase orders for project materials, equipment, and services while ensuring on-time, on-budget and full compliance.

Tasks & responsibilities: 

• Develop and execute procurement plans aligned with project schedules and budgets.
• Source and pre-qualify suppliers, run RFQs, compare bids, and perform commercial evaluations.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, delivery, warranties, and risk mitigations in alignment with category strategy.
• Create, issue, and administer purchase orders; manage changes/variation orders and PO close-out.
• Track expediting and deliveries; resolve vendor issues to protect schedule and quality.
• Monitor costs and identify savings/TCO opportunities without compromising specifications. 
• Ensure compliance with policies, HSE requirements, and applicable regulations; maintain clean audit trails. 
• Report procurement status, risks, and KPIs to project stakeholders.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, planning, QA/QC logistics, finance, and contracts.

Gevraagd

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, engineering, business administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven procurement experience in Oil & Gas / EPC or similar capital projects.
• Strong negotiation and contract administration skills (RFQ → PO → VO → close-out).
• Proficiency with ERP/procurement systems and Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
• Solid analytical skills and attention to detail'comfortable assesing TCO and commercial risk.
• Knowledge of industry standards, compliance, Incoterms, and import/export basics. 
• Clear communicator and effective stakeholder manager; collaborative, proactive, and organised. 
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
