On behalf of our client, we are seeking a highly organized, commercially driven professional capable of bringing structure and efficiency to a rapidly growing organization.

Description

• Vendor Management: Build and maintain a reliable supplier network, focusing on competitive markets in Asia and Europe.
• Order Fulfillment: Manage end-to-end procurement of both technical stock and general supplies, ensuring quality, cost-efficiency, and on-time delivery.
• Shipment Consolidation: Combine purchases from multiple vendors into container shipments to optimize costs and logistics.
• Customs & Compliance: Liaise with logistics partners and customs authorities to ensure smooth imports and regulatory adherence.
• CRM & Reporting: Use internal systems to track orders, maintain records, and provide procurement insights.
• Process Development: Create and implement purchasing procedures as part of the department's foundation.
• Internal Collaboration: Work closely with sales, inventory, and operations teams to align purchasing with operational demands.

Profile

• At least 2 years' experience in purchasing or procurement, ideally within the marine, industrial, or logistics sectors.
• Strong knowledge of international sourcing (especially from China), container shipping, and customs processes.
• Ability to work independently and take full ownership of processes.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational discipline.
• Proficient in English; Dutch, Chinese, or Turkish is an advantage.
• Must hold an EU work permit (visa sponsorship not available).
