Do you want to lead the project development of their Benelux operations? Then we have a perfect role for you!

Logent is a PE-owned and rapidly growing company that is the market leader in contract logistics in the Nordic region. We are looking for an operational manager with responsibility for the development of Logent's Benelux operations who, together with their central team, will drive and support in business development, implementation and start-up of new sites as well as provide support to our existing operational operations. We are looking for a person who is passionate about creating results and wants to actively be involved in developing the business. You belong to Logent's Benelux organization and you report to the COO.

Examples of tasks:

• Define the regions operational strategy for development and efficiency
• Ensure fulfillment of Logent's Operational Excellence program at all operations
• Define, drive and follow up on the development agenda of Logent's operating units
• Work closely with the Site Managers for operations 
• Overall responsibility for the implementation of new logistics business

The position is located in Benelux, Logent has operation in Ghent (Belgium) and Bleiswijk (Netherlands) and you will travel a number of days per month.

Gevraagd

You have a master's degree in engineering or economics and at least 5-10 years of experience, preferably from both management consulting and the logistics industry. You have experience of leading improvement work and are good at project management. To succeed well in this role, you are driven, result-oriented, structured, communicative and an engaging leader who is passionate about creating value for the business. You enjoy collaborating with others, are an appreciated leader, but can also make clear demands on your employees. You are happy to take your own initiative and find it easy to reprioritize when needed. You are data-driven and used to working in both Powerpoint and Excel.
