This vacancy in the FMCG industry in Rotterdam is for the position of Forecast Excellence Officer. You will be responsible for accurate volume forecasting and leading continuous improvement initiatives.

Description

• Create and manage an 18-month rolling volume forecast for the Benelux, with a focus on months 2-6
• Translate sales and marketing plans into actionable forecasts for production planning
• Lead the Business Forecast Process (part of S&OP)
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, supply chain and category teams for forecast optimization
• Improve predictive models and automate processes with internal or third-party tools
• Build scripts, monitor data quality, and visualize results using tools like PowerBI or Google Data Studio

Profile

• Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g. Supply Chain Management, Technical)
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience (FMCG is a plus)
• Strong analytical skills and system thinking; comfortable with large product portfolios
• Experienced in forecasting, data analysis, and modelling
• Proficient in Excel and familiar with PowerBI and/or Google Data Studio
• Interest in AI, machine learning, and automation tools
• Tech-savvy with a digital mindset; Python/SQL is a plus
• Strategic and tactical problem-solving ability
• Proactive, eager to learn, and hands-on
• Effective communicator with influencing skills
