As the Hands-on Head of Technical Services at Van den Burg Eiproducten in Waalwijk, you are the indispensable link who flawlessly combines technical expertise with inspiring leadership. 
You are the driving force behind a smooth and efficient production process. With your vision for process optimization and your ability to lift your team of five technical professionals to a higher level, 
you ensure that production continuity is not only guaranteed but also continuously improved.

Your impact is directly visible in the following core tasks:

You lead and coordinate the team in carrying out crucial maintenance and resolving complex malfunctions.
You proactively initiate and implement improvements to machine performance and production processes.
Using Ultimo, you develop the maintenance and staff schedules, thereby maximizing efficiency.
You keep a close watch on costs and manage the inventory of maintenance materials with a keen eye for budget.
You analyze maintenance data and translate it into clear, strategic reports for management.
You introduce new, innovative maintenance techniques and maintain relationships with key suppliers.
You create and maintain an exceptionally clean, safe, and perfectly organized work environment.

 

To excel in this role, you bring the following expertise:

• A completed technical education at a minimum of intermediate vocational level (MBO+); a Bachelor's degree (HBO) is a strong advantage.
• Between three and five years of relevant experience in a similar, managerial technical position.
• Thorough knowledge of process automation and control technology. Experience within the food industry gives you a distinct advantage.
• Excellent command of the Dutch language. Knowledge of the English language is a plus.
• Willingness to work on Saturdays, which is essential for the continuity of our processes.
• Candidate must speak Dutch on A2 level
