Company / Mission Description• Excited to contribute to a major project shaping the future of the European energy landscape?• The energy sector in Belgium, Germany, and across Europe is evolving rapidly, with key players driving the transition toward a sustainable and reliable electricity supply.• You will work alongside both contingent workers and internal teams to build a green, sustainable, and resilient energy infrastructure that fosters economic growth and reduces environmental impact.• Collaboration is at the heart of this mission — together, we can make the biggest difference.• The organization strongly believes in the power of diversity and inclusion, fostering an environment that drives innovation, creativity, and better results for all.Service Description• We are looking for a .NET Architect to provide technical leadership for a portfolio within the Asset domain.• The architect will be responsible for guiding and supporting the technical aspects of the portfolio and ensuring alignment with overall architectural principles.• The role involves managing applications that run on Windows and iOS (using .NET MAUI).• These applications integrate background services such as geolocation and geofencing — hands-on experience in building and deploying iOS apps is essential.• The systems are complex, using WPF and MAUI as front-end technologies. The architect will support an experienced development team, providing guidance on architecture design, troubleshooting, and optimization.• The Tech Lead will oversee a team of Full Stack .NET developers working on microservice-based products.Technologies & Tools• Languages & Frameworks: C#, .NET, WPF, .NET MAUI• Databases: SQL, MongoDB• Architecture: Clean Architecture, Microservices, Dapr• Messaging & Background Processing: RabbitMQ, Hangfire• Key Concepts: Geolocation, Geofencing, iOS App DeploymentFunctie-eisen
RequirementsLanguages:Fluent in English (mandatory)Very good knowledge of Dutch or FrenchExperience:• Minimum 4 years of experience as a .NET Architect• Strong background in software architecture, solution design, and team coordination• Onsite presence required 2 days per week (hybrid setup)Soft Skills• Excellent communication and collaboration skills• Strong ability to coach and mentor development teams• Active contributor and team player within Scrum teams• Capable of leading multiple development teams, coordinating work efficiently during sprints• Demonstrated seniority in technical issue analysis and resolution• Ability to define and communicate a clear architectural vision• Confident in challenging technical decisions with other tech leads and developers• Able to discuss and evaluate features with Product Owners (POs)• Skilled at translating complex technical topics for non-technical stakeholders• Experience in organizing collaborative technical sessions with developers and architects• Effective at managing priorities and handling emergencies under pressure• Structured, analytical, and solution-oriented approach to challenges• Passion for exploring new technologies and maintaining strong technical awarenessAdditional InformationLocation:• 2 days/week onsite• 3 days/week remoteFor consultants working in Belgium (non-EU nationals):• Must possess a valid work permit authorizing employment in Belgium• Must hold a valid residence permit confirming the right to reside in BelgiumSollicitatieprocedure
